With a worldwide release of May 18th and a digital release of May 11, 2010, "Monsters of the Midwest", Low Twelve have unleashed their 4th CD "Splatter Pattern". The CD features 13 brand new songs and a bonus track, which is a re-recording of their classic "Lines Drawn".
The band shows off its writing talent with this slab-o-sickness as the songs detail horrific events in history that have stained our past - or left splatter patterns behind. With songs about the Rape of Nanking, 9/11, Pol Pot, and the fall of Communism . . . Low Twelve will be taking metal heads to school in more ways than one!
Low Twelve went through some line up changes in 2009, but came out stronger and more brutal than ever. They now slam with two guitarists - Meister and original shredder Les Aldridge. Wes Pollock is behind the kit and the band is fronted by founding member and bassist Pete Altieri.
The CD was recorded Spring/Summer 2009. The drums were recorded at the band's practice spot, the infamous V-12 Concussion Chamber with the help of engineer Nathan Kurtz. The rest of the CD was tracked at Pete's own Nasty Studios.
The band did the mixing, producing and mastering themselves and have hired Clawhammer PR to handle the publicity end of things to get the word out in the big way!
A video for the song "Bodies In My Pocket" was shot in October 2009 and will be available soon!
