![]() |
So what in my brutal CD player this week? |
|
|
| 1. Low Twelve - Splatter Pattern rough mixes (so far - kicking total ass) | |||
| 2. Exodus - Pleasures of the Flesh (very kick ass 80's thrash) | |||
| 3. The Mentors - You Axed For It (sometimes you gotta get STUPID) | |||
So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . it's been an insane couple of weeks. As you know of course - because I had to skip the last couple of Brutality Reports with so much going on that I simply just did not have time to bust one out. I hate to do that, but we have some seriously pressing things we're trying to wrap up and it's tough with busy schedules. We appreciate everyone's patience.
You're going to see some kick ass behind-the-scenes pics from the "Bodies In My Pocket" video shoot we did on Sunday October 25th at Henry Street Horrors in Pontiac IL. It was a real fun time, but a lot of work as we ran all over the place to capture some intense footage! More on that later in the report. In addition, we tore it up at the Hallowfest show last weekend on Halloween! This was Les' first show back and it was a good one - the tones were ripping and with good monitors - that meant that the brutal meter was on FULL. We got a lot of great compliments after the show and of course Crazy Mike was there with the camera getting some titty shots and capturing all the HOT costumes! Also I've been hired to produce and master the Vietnam audio that I mentioned we were using for the song "A Hero's Last Stand". Due to our use of the song, some of the Vietnam Vets that were involved in the An Khe Base recordings in 1966 want to release the songs for their historical value. More on that exciting project later on. On top of all this - we've got a wicked double header of shows coming this next weekend to close out live shows for 2009! So mark them down and get your ass out. Also I put more vocals down on the "Splatter Pattern" CD and you'll get to hear a little sample of what's going on . . . and of course some of the hottest sluts are showing their stuff in the Brutality Report XXX and I must say - one of the nastiest skanks "graces" the Skank of the Week page this issue. Oh man - it's fucking so brutal it HURTS. Dan would have said - "that's so Low Twelve".
Now get on with it.
| BRUTAL DOUBLE HEADER COMING NEXT WEEKEND! |
|
| This next weekend will be a
double header to close out the 2009 live show schedule. We will be
concentrating on mixing down the upcoming "Splatter Pattern" CD and
gearing up for lots of live show in 2010 with some older material we
haven't done in a while and of course all the new stuff that will be on
the CD.
These are also Les' first local shows since he's been back. We're expecting big crowds at each show - so come down early and get a good seat. Coconut Louie's is a 21 and older show, but the sound system rips and we'll be doing some video taping for possible DVD release later next year. The show in Stanford should be fun - it's an all ages show but if you're 21 and older you can drink at the bar. Yeah - it's a converted church that has a stage for bands and a full bar. It's crazy - and very metal. That's why we all call it the Metal Church. It's a good venue to see a show and it's all ages, so your little sister can hang with Crazy Mike!

| HISTORIC VIETNAM WAR AUDIO PRESERVED |
|
|
In September 2008 I first contacted Susan Rescorla about wanting to write a song about her late husband Rick. I've told you all about him. Well, Susan hooked me up with Fred McBee, a writer who was a close friend of Rick's. Fred sent me a couple of cds in the mail to see if maybe I could use some of the audio for the song. One of the cds was a real rough cassette tape recording of officers from the 7th Cavalry, singing in a makeshift bar during the Vietnam war in April of 1966. The audio had never been used, and so I was excited to work with it. I extracted a couple of parts and worked them into the song "A Hero's Last Stand". Fred really liked what I did and together with a Vietnam veteran who was there in April 1966 playing acoustic guitar along with the guys singing. They think the songs have historic value and want to mass produce the recordings to sell online and in military museums, etc. Fred asked me to work with the audio and clean it up as best I can. I am honored to be working on this project to preserve some very unique audio from the Vietnam War. You can hear artillery shells going off while they sing in the combat zone - only months after the famous Ia Drang Valley battle made famous by the movie "We Were Soldiers". As a matter of fact, in the follow up book to that project, "We Are Soldiers Still", writer Hal Moore makes reference to the April 1966 tape and said that he's never heard it himself, but it's almost like urban legend. So I'm excited to be working with something so raw and unchanged from it's original cassette form. I'll keep you all posted on the project and link to it if anyone is interested in buying it when it's released. |

| BODIES IN MY POCKET VIDEO SHOOT A SUCCESS! |
|
| We had to seriously bust ass
to get it all done in one night - but we did it. Huge thanks to
Andy Ferguson and all the staff at Henry Street Horrors for making it
happen! We had a blast doing the "Bodies In My Pocket" video shoot
at their haunted house.
While we set up the band live shot in the bloody kitchen, I was off in other parts of the haunted house with actor Jordan Geyer who played our Marine. It was crazy - but we got all the shots in. We had a few volunteers who played dead guys that were chasing Jordan through the maze. The make up people at Henry Street Horrors did a great job making the bullet holes look pretty real. Check out some pics that we took during the shoot. Right now with all the last minute work I'm doing with the "Splatter Pattern" CD, this video will probably have to wait until that's all done. I just simply can't do it with everything else going on at the same time. But once the CD is done, I'll edit it down, because we want to use the video to promote the new CD along with several other videos we plan to shoot for various songs on the new CD. Editing down video is very, very tedious work. I did two music videos so far for Low Twelve and so this will be my third effort. I'm pumped about it because each time I do a video I learn more about it. The "Bodies" concept of the Marine coming home from the war and being overwhelmed with guilt about the people he killed in Iraq is something interesting to work with. I've looked over the raw video footage and I think we've got one hell of a video waiting to be put together. Huge thanks also to Mike "Sexy Bearded Handy Man" Stoltz who helped move gear around, shot much of the video, and was just a very sexy presence to the shoot. Of course Crazy Mike was there to do the still pics and Michelle was also helpful in getting all the releases signed for anyone who was on camera. Thanks to all who helped! |

Also big thanks to Lori Timmerman of Ooo-la-la Hair Designs, 212 N. Ladd Street, Pontiac IL for doing Jordan's haircut for free to support the cause. That was cool of her to do and we appreciate it. Guys - go to her salon on Mondays for a $10 cut!
| TERRORIZING THE CORNJERKERS! |
|
| We were pumped up for the
big Hallowfest show this year in Rossville. Every year it's a
blast and this one was even more special as it would be Les' first show
back with the band! It was just me and Les on the ride over in the
van, which was packed full of gear. Les doesn't have the trailer
we used to use anymore, so we are trying some different things to see
what works. But it was great to be in the shotgun position with
Les at the wheel. It seemed like all was right with the world once
again! Ha. When we got to the Legion Hall, things were still being set up. This year they went with two stages. One was down in the bar, and Dan Steinlicht (former guitarist of Low Twelve) was doing sound there. It was good to see him again. Upstairs we used the PA provided by Kruztea of Stinkditch. So having two stages really kept things moving along. I was busy at the merch table and Crazy Mike went wild once again with all the cute chick costumes. He got a lot of pics, and even a titty shot - which is rare at these shows for some reason! There were nine bands playing I believe - but the Heavycore brothers were Fallen Oath, Blessed with Pain, Seminary, Ocularis, Stinkditch, Low Twelve (of course), and new members Sarcophogy from Indiana. Those guys were fucking wicked and had to play first due to some legal issues their singer is dealing with. But they were fucking insane and we hope to be doing some shows with them in 2010. Our set was wicked - but had to be kept to 30 minutes. We did Mountains of the Dead, Lines Drawn, Splatter Pattern, A Hero's Last Stand, Hand of the Dying, Crawlspace and Defiance to the End. It was a bludgeoning 30 minutes you can rest assured! With Les and Meister on guitar duties - the sound has never been heavier. As Les commented on the ride home, "it was ri-god damned-diculous". I couldn't have said it better myself! |

Blessed with Pain - Fallen Oath

Ocularis - Sarcophogy

Seminary - Stinkditch

Dan Steinlicht - Wes/Michelle with Nate and girlfriend

Pete Altieri - Low Twelve

Wes Pollock - Low Twelve

Les Aldridge - Low Twelve

Meister - Low Twelve

Nice legs! She got WIPED OUT in the pit and hit her
head on the stage! OUCH.

Michelle took this pic of her after she was ok with some ice
on her head to kill the pain!

Some sexy costumes were in the house!

Lots of skin showing in Rossville!

Oh man . . . Brandi won sexiest costume. Go figure!

Annonymous Twelve Head let Crazy Mike snap this pic of her
tits before the show!
Once again - huge thanks to all who helped and came out to the show. Big fuck yeahs once again to Kruztea and crew who put these great shows on each year. Low Twelve had played each of the five Hallowfests - and together with Stinkditch and Ocularis are the only bands who can say that. Hell yeah!
| TERRORIZING THE
CORNJERKERS!
I thought you might dig this little 2 minute medley of four of the songs on the new CD - "Defiance to the End", "Splatter Pattern", "Hand of the Dying" and "Scourge". Enjoy and remember that these are rough and do not have the actual real drums - only some scratch practice tracks. |
| DON'T FORGET ABOUT XXX! |
|
| Last year we started taking
some of the more "extreme" photos off the Brutality Report so that
others could enjoy following Low Twelve and Heavycore without having to
see that sort of stuff. So we starting doing the Brutality Report
XXX - for you more hardcore bastards (or bitches) out there. As you know, we've got lots of hot chicks on the Brutality Report XXX page. But, that's only for adults, so if that's not your thing, or you're not legal to check that sort of thing out, then don't go there. You must be 18 or older to see that sort of thing - so you've been warned. But if you are legal to see that stuff and wish to - then you can see hot chicks like Naomi (pictured right) and many more, doing some nasty things. So why not check out lots of free picture and movie galleries where you can see sexy teens getting naked and performing acts that only adults can see. We do a feature each week of one of the hottest young girls on the web - offering several galleries for you to check out. Some have movies on them too, so you can see much more than still shots. We also post several more galleries - featuring girls that do nasty things. We also have an archive of past galleries, so you could wind up with a disability claim from all the jerking you're about to do! So be careful and don't hurt yourselves . . . we need you in the trenches - being brutal as ever for the underground metal movement. So that gives you an idea of what's in store . . . lots of hot teen chicks doing nasty things. Need I say more? Just one last time - remember you must be 18 or older to see such things . . . so don't go there unless you're legal. Click on the link below if you want to check out Brutality Report XXX and don't come whining to us if your cock gets sore from all the jerking - or if you're a female and that nub gets worn down. Enjoy the perversion! Happy jerkin'! |
