So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . things have been slamming in full gear this past week! I've been swamped with final bass tracking for the "Splatter Pattern" CD, mixing down Meister's last guitar rhythms and a lot more with the new CD. Last Sunday Wes completed round one of the drum tracking with Nathan Kurtz. I'm also working on pulling the "Bodies In My Pocket" video filming together for next weekend - so to say the least . . . we're firing on all twelve cylinders.
In addition to all that, Meister has a new 18-inch speaker cabinet to add to his brutal arsenal and is getting together with Les today prior to band practice, to dial it in with his set up. I can't wait to hear how wicked that will sound! Wes added some punch to his sound with some sweet Audix D-6 bass drums microphones that Nathan Kurtz busted out. Hell yeah.
So all you pussies out there who can't handle some serious brutality - step away from your computer. Just give up. I mean really - after eleven years it's amazing you still have it in you to read these reports and know that you are hung like a tic tac next to our monstrous male members!
Now get on with it.
| BODIES IN MY POCKET VIDEO SHOOT NEXT WEEKEND |

| I've been working
behind-the-scenes with Andy Ferguson of Henry Street Horrors to put
together one hell of a wicked video shoot for "Bodies in My Pocket".
The song will appear on the new "Splatter Pattern" CD and is the first
one we chose to shoot a video for, given that we had the wicked Henry
Street Horrors haunted house at our disposal. Andy was cool enough
to let us have our run of the place and we'll be shooting the video next
weekend. So as not to interfere with their scheduled hours for the haunted house - we will be shooting the video when they are not open. We are not going to be specific as to when - so we don't have a bunch of people show up to cause any problems for the staff. So for this shoot - we will not be taking anyone for extras. I'm sure with some of the other videos we shoot, there will be room for that. This song is about a Marine coming home from the war with some issues . . . bodies in his pocket. So - the scenes will be the band playing in a bloody kitchen, guitar solos inside of a spinning vortex, and some killer maze-chase scenes with our "Marine" and the bodies that haunt his dreams. Needless to say I'm pumped about it and think it's going to turn out awesome. We'll have pics posted soon on this and as soon as I get the video edited down - I'll post it for sure. | SPLATTER PATTERN TRACKING & UPDATES |

| We have been slamming busy
with the Low Twelve "Splatter Pattern" recording. I wanted to post
some more video today, but I just don't have the time with everything
going on. I will soon - and you'll get to see how we're putting
this mega 13-song ball slapping extravaganza together! First - Meister finished up his guitar tracking last Friday and Saturday here at Nasty Studios. He did the last group of songs: Bind Torture Kill, Hand of the Dying, Splatter Pattern and also Chopping Block - a song we do not plan on putting on the CD, but will use it for my radio show and some other promotion type things. So he's done - and aside from doing some vocals - Meister is complete. Last Sunday Wes hammered out six of the twelve songs he had to record. He did that at the V-12 Concussion Chamber, our former practice spot at Les' place. It was filled with microphones and cords as Nathan Kurtz busted out all his gear to record the drums. I was there for a while and shot some video and of course - took some pics of the session. Wes was prepared and did an awesome job throwing it down to the click tracks and with bass, guitar and vocals in his ear from the recordings we did at Nasty Studios. It's amazing how it all comes into focus at the end - but while it's all going on it seems like it will NEVER get done. Damn - it's a rewarding process, but it can be very daunting to take on when you have some complex material, with intro/outros and various voices to record. some of the more "extreme" photos off the Brutality Report so that
others could enjoy following Low Twelve and Heavycore without having to
