So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . I'm a bit banged up this week as I forge the fuck on with the Brutality Report. I threw my back out on Tuesday this past week and have hobbled across the finish line - but managed to brutalize at the outdoor bash we did last night to give a local metal head a good send off for US Army basic training! Much more on that later in the report, to include some new pics from the amazing Crazy Mike . . . who found a few girls that despite the cold Midwest weather - were all about taking clothes off for all of us! Nice! Crazy Mike is the shit once again!
In addition to all that going on - we've got a new feature girl that will be appearing in the Brutality Report XXX each week. She's affiliated with one of the many sites we collaborate with when it comes to delivering the goods on sexy teen chicks - so Chelsey's Corner will be a new feature that I'm sure you horny fuckers out there will love. You'll see much more of her later in the report! Plus the guys in As Blood Will Tell will be co-hosting the August Chopping Block Show along with me, so that should be a good time. We'll be doing that the last week of July here at my own Nasty Studios. All that plus much more brutalness to unfold in this week's Brutality Report.

Every so often I like to have a band come in and co-host the Chopping Block Show along with me. I've had Low Twelve come in a few times over the years, and I would like to bring more local bands in to do that. In the fall, the guys in Stinkditch are going to come in and promote their huge Hallowfest show that falls on Hallween night this year! It's going to be huge this year with two stages, a live radio station remote going on and lots more. Of course Low Twelve will be throwing down at that one, so don't miss it. For the August show, I thought it would be cool to bring in the guys from As Blood Will Tell, a new young band from Normal Illinois. We've jammed with them a couple of times and they are very kick ass and seem to be cool dudes. So I invited them to come by, one night the last week of July, to co-host the show with me. They're going to bring their demo along, so we can spin one of their songs and let them check out my massive CD collection to pick some stuff they dig to play on the show. For those of you who don't know what the Chopping Block Show is - or it's been a while since you've listened - check out the link to the right to listen to the July show right now in streaming mp3 format. It's a one hour radio show I do each month, that features only Heavycore bands. We spin brutal shit - from Cannibal Corpse, to Exodus, Testament, Torture Killer, and everything in between. | Wes scored some new gear for
his arsenal . . . check out the new Pearl "Demon Driver" bass drum
pedals! They really speed things up and so it will take a little
time for him to adjust his playing. But once he does - look out
Dave Lombardo! Wes will be tearing it up at breakneck speed with
these bastards! They even come with a cool road case for each pedal - so they will be pampered and maintained for maximum brutalization! Hell yeah Wes . . . nice score. | We had a total blast last
night at the bash that the family of local metal head, Jonathan Bethel,
threw at their house out in the country. It was pretty cool to be
playing that close to home, since I moved to Heyworth in September last
year. Jonathan Bethel is the brother of a good friend of ours, Jim
Bethel, who is a professional sound engineer who does touring with bands
and that sort of thing. He's got a big Mushroom Head tour he's
going on soon, so it was great to see him at the show despite his busy
schedule. The weather was a bit dicey at times, and we had to cover gear up with tarps a couple of times. But we managed to make it work and the show went on without any problems. Everyone seemed to have a good time and thankfully their was no drama with cops or any stupid fighting bullshit. All the metal heads who came out had a great time, drinking the three kegs and enjoying the tunes. As Blood Will Tell played first and put on a good show. They were missing a guitar player, who had to work and couldn't find anyone to cover him. It was great that they sucked it up and played on - and the crowd seemed to dig it. After them was Ocularis - who I thought sounded really strong. They opened up with a new song, "Coupon", that was very kick ass in my opinion. They tore into a mix of old and new stuff and as always - had the crowd pitting and going nuts. Of course they ended their set with the classic "Fucked". So it was a good time! We hit the stage around 11pm, after about a 45-minute rain delay. It was coming down pretty good, but we didn't want to leave the show unfinished without pulverizing the crowd. So we hung in and waited, and thankfully the rain stopped enough for us to play. I had to use a windscreen on my mic to avoid getting shocked and there were times it started to drizzle a bit. But we tore it up just the same. The crowd dug our new stuff - we showed off many of the new ones, but also played classics like "Lines Drawn" and "Crawlspace" to satisfy the old school fans too. It was a good time. Of course Crazy Mike was in the house . . . and you know what that means. He was all about the hot girls and they were loving on him. One chick was seen making out with Mike at the kegs . . . and several took their clothes off to be on camera. So enjoy the pics! Once again - huge fuck yeahs to Jonathan Bethel for joining the US Army. He's going to be a Bradley mechanic and will be doing his basic at the same place I did nearly 20 years ago - Fort Knox Kentucky! Hell yeah! |

As you can see - we all had a great time at the show. Huge thanks to the Bethel family for being so cool and putting on a great event to send Jonathan off right. We wish him only the best. He leaves for basic training on July 18th and if he writes to us or calls with an update on how things are going - I'll be sure to pass that on. We're proud of him for joining the Army and wish him a safe tour and to get home safe!
