So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . as we bring in the 500th Brutality Report in true Low Twelve fashion! Fuck yeah - what a milestone to hit 500 Brutality Reports. Few can match such wicked feats. Much more on the 500th Report later on - so prepare my friends.
We had one hell of a great show last night down at Coconut Louie's in Bloomington IL. The crowd was good and the girls were feeling a bit flushed as the brutal tunes started going. Crazy Mike must have been letting off a scent . . . telling them to get nuts but all the grinding, and girls pulling up skirts that made for an interesting night to say the least. Of course Crazy Mike captured it all on the camera, and we had a kick ass time for sure. Much more on that with pics of course - plus a preview of the outdoor bash next weekend in Westville IL (just south of Danville). So check it out and get your ass to this one that's guaranteed to get nuts. So - now's the time when I tell all the weak and lame to turn off the computer and spare themselves the pain. But since it's the 500th Brutality Report - I'm saying "cum one, cum all" and let the posers feast on the 500th report and know that NO MATTER how hard they tried, they would never match wits with my insatiable appetite to bring you the Brutality Report each week! | It's amazing to think that I
actually made it to the 500th. It's crazy really. That's a
lot of writing when you think about it. If I were to put all the
Brutality Reports into a book . . . imagine the girth my friends.
It would be like an encyclopedia of sheer wickedness! Ha. I can remember the early Brutality Reports, prior to getting the digital camera. I used to take the pics with a film camera, wake up early on Sunday to take the rolls of film to develop at a Walgreen's. To kill the hour wait, I'd grab some breakfast and outline on paper what I was going to talk about. Once the pictures were developed - which wasn't always an hour, I took them home to scan and then do the Brutality Report. That was nuts - but I did it that way for at least the first year or so. When we got our first digital camera, the brutal gods were smiling. Because then we didn't have to worry about titty shots not being developed and all that shit. So Crazy Mike took over the camera duties and started to take his infamous nude shots! Hell yeah. I remember passing the milestone Brutality Reports and wondering if I would ever make it to 500. So now that I'm here, I wonder how many more will I do? It's hard to say of course . . . but the next milestone as I see it will be the 666th report. That should be fun and I hope I can continue doing these for that long. When you think about it - that's three years of constant reports and then some. So think about 500 reports . . . with 52 weeks in a year that means that I've been doing these for over ten years. There have been a few weeks over the past couple years that I intentionally missed due to being out of state or that sort of thing. Plus a year or two ago, I took an entire month off so as not to burn out doing them. I got so many emails from fans who were bumming about no Brutality Reports . . . so they continued on of course. I do these Brutality Reports for you . . . as well as me. I do enjoy doing it and while there are some Sundays that I would rather sleep in, or maybe just veg and watch some TV. But something compels me to do it . . . maybe it's to see the nakedness that Crazy Mike captures? Whatever the reason - I will continue to deliver the reports as long as it remains enjoyable to do them. If they're not fun to do, then you won't like reading it and then it gets lame. No lameness here my friends - only true wickedness abounds. |

Big thanks to all who sent in their thoughts on it. I wish I had more time this week, because I wanted to do a big spread . . . a huge Brutality Report extravaganza. But to be honest, I'm buried in work here and just don't have the time this week to do it. So I thought doing a more "regular" report - would be a fitting way to show my own celebration of doing 500 reports . . . by not making a huge deal out of it, but just forging the fuck on as I always have.

Don't miss this great one next Saturday - June 6th. We're pumped up and ready for a good show here as we hit the outdoor stage and slam this place into oblivion. Hell yeah! They've got a great lineup of bands and there will be food/drinks available as well as parking. I think they are even going to have dudes camping out - so you know that means some crazy shit will be going down. It doesn't get much more Low Twelve than that! Our first big shows were outdoor - Moshing in the Country was May 1999 and Stomp Fest was September 1999 and those were classic shows. Both were insane - hundreds of metal freaks all getting drunk as hell and insane in the pit. We had broken ankles, teeth busted, and lots of blood. It was great and so thinking back to those days - it's fitting that 10 years later we'd be back to that arena again for this Miller Bash 2009 show. It's also cool that Blessed with Pain is on the bill this time, as they were at both of the aforementioned outdoor shows. Hell yeah! Here's a link to the map and you can get directions to the show if you're looking to make it out. It's about an hour and a half from Bloomington IL. It's not hard to get to - so don't puss out. I will not do a Brutality Report next Sunday, since this one is going to wipe my ass out for the rest of the weekend . . . plus we're going to have a shitload of pics. | We destroyed Coconut Louie's
last night in Bloomington IL - our hometown. It was a good one,
with not a bad turnout for such a nice night where lots of people dig
cooking out and with the smoking ban in public places . . . stay home to
drink and party. But the faithful came out to see us, Stinkditch
and of course Ocularis tear shit up! We had played this bar when it was Bob's, but it changed a couple years ago and they wanted to wait a while to bring metal back, but they decided now was the time and we tore it up right last night. Crazy Mike was at the show, which was great because he's been having some health issues lately that has kept him from coming out. But he's been doing better and has been on medication to keep things under control. So it was great to see him out and with that camera around his neck. I'm not sure what was in the water last night, but the girls were really horny and were all about Crazy Mike last night. Some random chick came up and started tongue kissing him and rubbing herself up on him. Hell yeah. Of course I was unloading gear at the time, but witnesses confirmed Crazy Mike's story. It was classic Low Twelve - he's been known to eat pussy at shows, and even got a blowjob in an arcade at the venue we were playing at. Hell yeah! How can you not love Crazy Mike? He's the shit and we acknowledged that last night over the PA when Wes came out from behind his kit to pay homage to the titty shot master . . . Crazy Mike Lanham. |
Ocularis played first, so that the out of town band, Stinkditch would have the middle slot. Ocularis is always cool like that and so that's one of the reasons it's always fun to play with them. They're just cool mother fuckers . . . and all about Heavycore support. They put on a good show and sounded killer through the PA at the venue. Big fuck yeahs to "Long Haired" Dan for doing an awesome job with sound at this show. He's always fun to have running the board . . . even though his ass keeps busting the CD player. Ha.
OCULARIS
Stinkditch came out from Hoopeston . . . Corn Jerker country. They brought some friends along and it was great to see them again. Guitarist Kruztea was celebrating his 28th birthday - so it was good to see them having a blast with the Bloomington freaks and freakettes. They also put on a good show and showed their own brand of metal to the Bloomington crowd.
STINKDITCH
At approximately 12:30 am we hit the stage and tore the fucking roof off of Coconut Louie's. We were going to use a funny "Vagina" song intro but since "Long Haired" Dan broke the CD player, we couldn't. Ha. But we busted into "Mountains of the Dead" and "Lines Drawn" to set the tone for one brutal set. WOW - the on stage volumes were ripping and Dan did a nice job with those monitors. After the show, friends told us we never sounded better out front. So that was cool. We had a good set, and played real tight even though we hadn't actually practiced since our last show in Hoopeston in April. With Wes/Michelle's wedding, all that chaos shook things up a bit and so we have been working on the recording of "Splatter Pattern". But we tore it up and played well anyway!
We played a lot of new stuff like "Hand of the Dying", "A Hero's Last Stand", and more. We ended the show with "Crawlspace" of course and the fans loved it. One female fan after the show told us that her pussy actually got wet during that song. I'm not sure if that's sexy or disturbing, considering that song is about Gacy and his putting young boys in the crawlspace under his house. Ha. You gotta love that and as Dan says a lot "that's so Low Twelve." I really couldn't agree more!
