So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . it's been insane around the Low Twelve Command Center the past couple of weeks! As you all know, Wes and Michelle got married on Saturday May 16th and I was the officiant of the wedding. For you dumb bastards out there - I was the pastor who actually wed the two of them! For those who know me well, it was a perverse thing of exquisite beauty - me running the show and saying all those "nice things" you have to say when doing a wedding. But you'll all get a kick out of seeing me and the rest of Low Twelve in tuxedos and Michelle and her bridesmaids all done up right. Enjoy the pics and catch up on all that is brutal on this Memorial Day weekend . . . remember the fallen as you enjoy the kick ass summer weather - grillin' out and that sort of thing. Remember the ones who paid the ultimate price for us all to enjoy our freedom!
So all you metal freaks . . . dig in to the 499th slab o' sickness while the weak and frail among us recoil in horror at the brutality of it all. They know they're weak poser pukes and we stomp ass - so let's laugh as we raise our glasses high at the misery the Brutality Report has delivered now 499 times to the posers out there.

| I got an email from Sacred
Oath frontman, Rob Thorne, that the new Sacred Oath video for "Counting
Zeros" will be played on MTV2's Headbangers Ball! It's actually
going to be played tonight, but you can check out the link below to see
parts of an interview MTV did with the band. Most of you know, that I was part of the original Sacred Oath lineup in 1984-1988 as bass player and some backing vocals. I did sing a couple songs, one was actually called "Posers Must Die" and I busted out this sick "Blood Bass" I custom painted to look like I just killed some poser puke . . . with actual goat's teeth embedded into the body! It was wild. I still have the thing - it's at Wes' house. Anyway . . . the band split in 1988 and I took 10 years off before reuniting with Sacred Oath in 1998 to re-record some of our old songs. After that I got the bug again, flew home and on that ride home - I decided to start Low Twelve. Coming this July, it will mark 11 years of Low Twelve. So Sacred Oath was a big part of my early years playing, and while it's not nearly the heaviness of what I do now - I appreciate the incredible talent and drive these guys have. | COUNTING DOWN TO 500
. . .
Can you believe that next weekend will bring with it the 500th Brutality Report? It's hard to imagine that it's actually going to be here - because I remember when I hit the 250th, it seemed like a thing so far away to actually make it to 500. So to see it here means that the hard work, dedication, and sheer drive to bring the reports to you each week - has paid off big time. I'm proud of that milestone, because I know how many times I struggled to put the report out each week. During 2001 when I was doing chemotherapy treatments, it was tough to crank out the Brutality Report each week. When Tim died in 2002, it was very difficult to do much of anything . . . and we were in the middle of recording the "Unfit For Human Occupancy" CD. So it's been a tough road, but one that I will always look back on with a smile, and of course a raging hard on! Ha. If anyone would like to send in a comment (good or bad) about the Brutality Report - I just might post it in the 500th. So send it to us at contact@lowtwelve.com

| Wes and Michelle got married
on Saturday May 16th at Allerton Park in Monticello Illinois. The
place they chose for the wedding was this really awesome spot called the
Sunken Garden. Due to all the rain we had been having, they were
not able to do the wedding there. But Allerton Park is huge and
often does multiple weddings over the weekend, so they moved the
ceremony to this really nice place - next to a pond with a huge mansion
in the background. As you can see from this picture - it's really
nice.
Now maybe the gods were trying to tell me something . . . because the night before the wedding, at the rehearsal dinner, several people were caught in a nasty hail storm. I'm talking baseball sized hail that actually took out the back window of Wes' brother Rob's rental car! It tore the shit out of Michelle's SUV - with dents on every square inch and some windshield damage as well. My wife and I left about 15 minutes prior with Meister and Les along for the ride, and while we hit some heavy rains, the hail was behind us. So we escaped it all. I wondered if it were the gods telling me that I should not act as Pastor Pete and actually do a wedding ceremony. A good friend of mine, who has known me since I was 16 - told me that me being an ordained minister was one of the most perverse things he could imagine. Knowing me all these years - he knows how warped my mind works and the sick shit I've dreamt up over all these years. But . . . I guess even the brutal can be civil now and then right? Well - I not only was a "good boy" that day - but Pastor Pete delivered the goods in a huge way if I must say so myself. Wes and Michelle really liked the way it turned out, and just about everyone who spoke with me after, was saying how much they liked it. So I'm glad I came through for them. Wes and Michelle actually wrote the vows, all I had to do was read it. But I did put a lot of feeling into what I was saying, and I had prepared by reading the vows several times prior. Les was the best man and Wes' brothers Rob and Travis, as well as long-time friend Donny made up the groomsmen. Michelle's daughter Summer was the maid of honor and she had three close friends make up the bridesmaids. |
The turnout was fantastic as approx 175 people filled the seats to hear Pastor Pete deliver the service . . . and then back to Bloomington Illinois to the Ozark House for the reception. The food was kick ass and it seemed like everyone had an awesome time. It was great to see several friends like Mike "Sexy Bearded Handy Man" Stoltz with girlfriend Jen, Nate and John from Skeptik, The Shawbacks, and many more. Of course Wes and Michelle had all their families there too - so it was a packed house. Michelle had a great surprise for Wes and had a picture of Low Twelve put on the groom's cake. Hell yeah.

hell am I going to bring the tux back like this?
Wes and Michelle went to the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon. Hopefully they ran into Pete from da Bronx while they were there - it's been told he loves to hang out there. Ha. Hope you all enjoyed the pics. There will be many more when the actual photographer gets Wes and Michelle the pics they took during the ceremony. This way you can see me actually doing the ceremony along with Wes and Michelle.
