IN THIS WEEK'S ISSUE:
► Final Guitar Tracking for "Splatter Pattern" begins

► July Show Booked to Honor Local Soldier

► More Hot Chicks in Brutality Report XXX This Week

So what in my brutal CD player this week?

1.  Kreator - Hordes of Chaos (killer new thrash metal)
2.  Exodus - Atrocity Exhibition (brutal thrash from Bay Area monsters)
3.  Cannibal Corpse - Evisceration Plague (still jamming this brutal new death metal)

So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . I'm basking in brutalness once again!  It's been a very hectic week here in the Low Twelve Command Center as I prepared to get things set for Meister to come by and start doing the final guitar tracking.  Much more on that later as "Splatter Pattern" finally begins to take real shape!

In addition to that, I've been trying to get the May edition of the Heavycore Chopping Block Show put together and I'm hoping that by this time next week, I'll have it ready to go and for your ears to receive some serious fucking punishment!  We also have a show booked in July to support a local soldier who's going into basic training soon after . . . and you know we're all about doing things for our military in Low Twelve.  It's the least we can do for them.  We've got all that plus more . . . as we countdown the final few Brutality Reports until I hit the magic number of 500!  It's crazy to think about it - I thought this day would never actually arrive . . . but very soon it will my brutal friends.

Of course all the metal freaks in the crowd know what they need to do.  The pussies of the crowd are cowering in the corner while real metal freaks throw down.  They don't know what to do, their panties are all wet from pissing themselves.  Their women begin to see them for the weak, frail homos that they are . . . while we thrash on and don't look back.  Few can hang - none can persevere like Low Fuckin' Twelve.  Ten years and still brutal as hell!

Now get on with it.

HOW BAD ASS IS THAT SHIT?

Last Friday, as most of you loyal readers know, my son and I went to see Kreator and Exodus (with Belphegor and Warbringer) at the House of Blues in Chicago.  It was bad ass to say the least!  We were guests of Nuclear Blast, to do an interview with Exodus and to take some pics during the show.

If you missed the Brutality Report last week, then check this out to see some of the great pics I was able to take up close against the stage and my review of the show.  It was killer!

Check out the poster that I was able to snag at the Kreator merch table after the show.  It's now proudly on my wall next to my all-time favorite Mercyful Fate poster from the 1980's.  I also attached my ticket stub at the bottom, so I'd remember this show for a long time to come!

Pick up the new Kreator "Hordes of Chaos" and new Exodus "Let There Be Blood" - their killer re-recording of their classic "Bonded By Blood".  Both CD's slay and should be a part of your metal collection . . . you fuckers.  Check out the remaining tour dates where both bands will be playing!

JULY SHOW BOOKED TO HONOR LOCAL SOLDIER

Low Twelve (left to right) Dan, Pete, Meister, and Wes
photo by Gabby Hinkson - 2008

A few months ago, I ran into someone at the small IGA in Heyworth Illinois where I now live.  This guy said, "shouldn't you be working on the Brutality Report?".  It was Sunday - how the hell did he know who I was and about the Brutality Report?  Well, in a few seconds I realized - he was the little brother of a good friend of the band - Jim Bethel.  He asked me if we'd play a going away party for him this summer, prior to him shipping out to basic training in the US Army.  Of course he didn't have to twist my arm - I knew the band would love to do something like that for a future US Army soldier.

So the date is set for July 18th.  It's a private party -so unfortunately I can't pass on the details . . . other than we'll be throwing down before he hits the road with our brothers in Ocularis.  So it will be a good time!

Low Twelve is all about supporting the troops covering out asses!  As many of you know, I was in the Army from 1991-1994 but injured my back severely and had to be medically discharged.  Now I'm a disabled vet and I do what I can to pass along that message.  Whether you're a believer of the war or not - you need to support those who have volunteered to do that thankless job!

We're in the talking stage now of doing a short tour in September that revolves around another show for a soldier.  This is on a much larger scale and will be quite a big deal if it comes off.  I'll keep the details quiet now and once things become official, I'll pass it along.  I'm hoping we can pull it off . . . it would probably be the biggest show Low Twelve has ever done if things go as planned.  Keep your brutal fingers crossed my brothers and sisters!

SPLATTER PATTERN BEGINS TO TAKE REAL SHAPE

We had to change gears quickly . . . Dan called me yesterday and was puking sick.  So instead of practicing without him to complete the writing/arranging for the last song of the CD - the title track, we decided to make the best use of our time and get Meister's gear to my place and get tracking started.

We had planned on doing that this week, so now we got a good jump on it - as Meister, me, my son Joe, and his friend Cody (aka Hurricane) - dragged the heavy gear up my steep ass staircase.  But once inside Nasty Studios, all is right and it's a very comfortable recording set up.  I'm very please with the way it's come out actually.  There are still some modifications that need to be made - but it works well.

I had saved all of the settings we used from last time we did the pre-production recordings - so we had a good starting point to work with.  I had the details down to what mic on what speaker - what volumes were set at, and even took pictures of it in case we needed to see how it was done.  It worked amazing, and only some minor fine tuning was needed since Meister had a new rack-mount EQ he was using this time - that he didn't have in February when we did the pre-production stuff.

Meister's guitar sound was bludgeoning to say the least!  My wife said it was pretty loud downstairs, despite the fact we had his cabinets in my studio closet with acoustic panels all the way around them.

We made good progress and the click tracks that Wes did made a huge difference in recording.  Meister blasted out guitar tracks for "A Hero's Last Stand" and "Mountains of the Dead".  He did an awesome job, and we're ready to destroy more tracking this week . . . after we both get off work - so it will be difficult.  But we're brutal - we can handle it.  Ha.

Meister dialing it in . . . I even played his guitar (if you can call it that) while he tweaked his EQ

Meister being Meister . . . as he did "Mountains of the Dead" rhythms

We will likely be doing guitar tracking from now until mid May or so.  With Wes and Michelle's wedding coming up on May 16th - we've got some down time where he'll be tied up (maybe literally - we don't know that for sure though - ha) for a couple weekends . . . so the rest of us will take advantage of that time to keep recording and working on "Splatter Pattern".  By the time that's done, the guitars will be complete - solos and all and I can begin working on final vocals.

We'll keep you posted through it all and will be shooting video of the process as well.  I've done one voiceover for an intro to "Mountains of the Dead" that turned out really wicked.  I've got Mike "Sexy Bearded Handy Man" Stoltz coming by soon to do one also - for a song I can't reveal to you just yet.  It's an older Low Twelve song that we're re-recording for this CD as a bonus track.  But I thought it would be cool to have him do an intro so they all didn't sound the same.

Jeff Gaither is also working on the artwork as you read this . . . so hopefully here soon we'll have at least the cover to tease you with.  This new CD is going to look and sound different than anything from us you've ever heard before.  It's very strong - all the songs kick total ass and with two new guitar players in the mix - it can't help but sound different.

Keep your eyes and ears open for updates on "Splatter Pattern".  It's going to pummel your ass into the ground!

DON'T FORGET ABOUT XXX!

Last year we started taking some of the more "extreme" photos off the Brutality Report so that others could enjoy following Low Twelve and Heavycore without having to see that sort of stuff.  So we starting doing the Brutality Report XXX - for you more hardcore bastards (or bitches) out there.

As you know, we've got lots of hot chicks on the Brutality Report XXX page.  But, that's only for adults, so if that's not your thing, or you're not legal to check that sort of thing out, then don't go there.  You must be 18 or older to see that sort of thing - so you've been warned.

But if you are legal to see that stuff and wish to - then you can see hot chicks like Sandra (pictured right) and many more, doing some nasty things.  So why not check out lots of free picture and movie galleries where you can see sexy teens getting naked and performing acts that only adults can see.

We do a feature each week of one of the hottest young girls on the web - offering several galleries for you to check out.  Some have movies on them too, so you can see much more than still shots.  We also post several more galleries - featuring girls that do nasty things.  We also have an archive of past galleries, so you could wind up with a disability claim from all the jerking you're about to do!  So be careful and don't hurt yourselves . . . we need you in the trenches - being brutal as ever for the underground metal movement.

So that gives you an idea of what's in store . . . lots of hot teen chicks doing nasty things.  Need I say more?  Just one last time - remember you must be 18 or older to see such things . . . so don't go there unless you're legal.

Click on the link below if you want to check out Brutality Report XXX and don't come whining to us if your cock gets sore from all the jerking - or if you're a female and that nub gets worn down.

Enjoy the perversion!  Happy jerkin'!
