So what in my brutal CD player this week? |
|
|
| 1. Sacred Oath - Sacred Oath (very kick ass CD - I got it early - comes out in May) | |||
| 2. Kreator - Hordes of Chaos (completely wicked new thrash from the German gods of metal) | |||
| 3. Cannibal Corpse - Evisceration Plague (brutal new death metal) | |||
So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . as we continue to shred posers where they stand here in the Low Twelve Command Center. It's been busy here as Low Twelve is wrapping up the writing of the last couple songs for the upcoming "Splatter Pattern" CD. Things are moving along nicely and we'll give you some more updates later on in the report.
In addition to all that I managed to bang out another kick ass edition of the Heavycore Chopping Block Show. This show kicks poser ass and features two cuts from the new Sacred Oath CD coming out in May, plus some clips of the interview I recently did with singer/guitarist Rob Thorne. Also - I've got a couple new Low Twelve shows booked for June, one of them being an outdoor keg party in Westville Illinois that should prove to be "very Low Twelve" with lots of beer, crazed metal freaks, and girls who enjoy taking their clothes off for Crazy Mike. Hell yeah! He was the first person I called when the show was official, so he could warm up the camera for that shit. Ha. All that plus lots more, including fallen 9/11 hero Rick Rescorla receiving the most prestigious award for valor given to civilians, and of course a parade of nasty sluts in the Brutality Report XXX.
So you metal freaks out there - grab a cold one, and a nice warm bowl of something . . . and dig into this slab o' sickness. You poser pukes - well you know the drill. Grab your little tiny dick (we'll give you a few minutes to find it) and then pull open a desk drawer. Ok - now put the head of your little tiny dick inside and slam that fucker for all it's worth. Hurt doesn't it? Ha - that's ok, because I'm sure there is some strapping young Heavycore freak that is hard as a rock and ready to fuck your woman in the ass for ya!
Now get on with it.

| RICK RESCORLA RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS AWARD |
|
|
I've written several times about Rick Rescorla - so most of you know who I'm talking about. For those who don't - you should check out the memorial site to find out more about this TRUE American hero. Rick was a decorated soldier in Vietnam, who later become head of security for Morgan Stanley-Dean Witter in the south tower of the World Trade Center. Rick saved 2,694 people on 9/11 only to perish in the towers himself . . . no thanks to the terrorist pricks who attacked so many innocent people that fateful day. I've also told many of you about the song we wrote in tribute to Rick called "A Hero's Last Stand". We contacted the memorial website and his widow, Susan, asked us about using the song for an upcoming ceremony where the last piece of steel will be delivered to Fort Benning Georgia by a biker group known as Iron and Steel. This ceremony will be huge, with thousands of people in attendance and one of the speakers being General Colin Powell. The Low Twelve song "A Hero's Last Stand" is being considered to be played when they Iron and Steel bikers arrive, with Susan on the back of the lead Harley, to the new US Infantry museum. This is planned for September 2009 - the piece of steel will leave NYC on 9/11 and taken down in a convoy of more than 600 bikes, police cars, and fire trucks. We are humbled that Susan would want to use our song. When I spoke to her on the phone, and stressed that our music was very heavy - she responded "we need something loud enough to be heard over 600 bikes, and so why not Low Twelve?" I couldn't agree more! On March 25th, Rick was given a posthumous award - the highest award an American civilian can get. It's the Above & Beyond Citizen Medal. His son and daughter accepted the award on his behalf. Check out the video of this presentation if you wish, and if you have some time - check out the memorial site and find out more about what a TRUE American hero this man was. These people are rare - but when they come into our lives they seem to go away just as quick. Think about that and be thankful there are Rick Rescorla's out there to watch over us all! |
Check out the lyrics for "A Hero's Last Stand"
A Hero’s
Last Stand
Music by Low Twelve
Lyrics by Pete Altieri
Copyright 2008 by Nasty Music
Chorus
A
hero’s last stand
The world starts to crumble, he’s got the plan
He faced evil when others ran
A hero’s last stand
Verse
Enamored as a boy, with soldiers on parade
To march with pride, as medals shine, and people call your name
The Ia Drang in '65, his valor saved countless lives
The ones who fell would haunt his dreams until his final breath
An
infectious personality, he left his mark on all he knew
His job now meant he was security in Tower Two
He trained them well as they faced Hell, his voice cutting the din
Predictions came true, Rescorla knew how things would end that day
Pre-Chorus
Others
freeze and panic
Courage cuts the chaos
Hero rises from the ashes, hero rises from the ashes!
Bridge
He
could have gotten out alive
But he stayed to help his fellow man
2,694 people were saved by the hero on the stairs
He made his last stand

| OUTDOOR LOW TWELVE SHOW COMING IN JUNE! |
|
| We have been concentrating
on wrapping up the writing for our upcoming CD - and have purposely left
the show schedule a bit lean. Well - this week I booked a couple
of June shows that should be fucking brutal. One of them is an
outdoor keg party in rural Westville Illinois (just south of Danville)
with Heavycore brothers Grytherin. This is on Saturday June 6th
and it sounds like a great time. As more information comes out -
I'll pass that shit on. They said last year's show was killer and
they expect a better turn out this year. I guess they have plenty
of room for people to camp and all that shit. Back in the spring
of 1999 we played the infamous Moshing in the Country Show in El Paso
Illinois and it was what put Low Twelve on the map. We tore that
place a new ass. We later slammed the same site again in the fall
of 1999 with the even bigger Stomp Fest. It was a great time and
those days have been a distant memory - now 10 years later. But it
sounds like we're doing something similar with this June 6th show - so
try and make it out to that one! In addition, we're doing a house party show for Ian Born, who used to sing for Redeeming Damnation - a Heavycore band from Bloomington IL. Ian joined the Army and has been in Korea, away from his wife and kids for a long time. I have corresponded with Ian by email while he was gone, and also his wife Jenny has come out to some of the local shows. Ocularis wanted to put on a show to welcome Ian home and asked us to play. Of course we obliged and we'll be slamming that with Ocularis and Seven Year Existence on Saturday June 13th. That should also be a drunken fest of insanity! We're anxious to get out there and show off our new songs . . . so mark these dates on your calendar and make sure you take your hot little sis with you and we can introduce her to Crazy Mike. She's got to be 18 or older of course, but aside from that . . . Mike will take it from there! Check out much more on our upcoming shows below under the "Scheduled Ball Slappings" section. Prepare to hear some brutal new shit you bastards . . . and yes the tampons will be flying! |
| SPLATTER PATTERN
UPDATE We have been busting ass finishing up the last two songs for the upcoming CD - "Splatter Pattern". One of those songs is an instrumental that Wes brought to the table with some great drum beats, and collectively we added the music and arranged it. This song kicks serious ass and is a real challenge for Wes to play - it's called "Fire For Effect". The other song we just started yesterday and it's the title track. So far it is turning out really good. This one Meister and I worked on the riffs together here at my studio a few months ago. If you remember, this is how we wrote "A Hero's Last Stand". For that song, Dan and I met and wrote the music together, and then brought it to practice for all to work out and arrange. I add my lyrics and there you have it. Well, this seems to be a really cool way to write and so I would expect future Low Twelve songs to be done in the same way - so I can work one-on-one with Meister or Dan to work on the music with some of the vocal melodies I have in mind when the song is conceived. We are getting very close to having all the click tracks done and will be working on recording guitar, bass, and vocals here by the end of April. Check out some pics of us working on these new songs at practice.

| DON'T FORGET ABOUT XXX! |
|
| Last year we started taking
some of the more "extreme" photos off the Brutality Report so that
others could enjoy following Low Twelve and Heavycore without having to
see that sort of stuff. So we starting doing the Brutality Report
XXX - for you more hardcore bastards (or bitches) out there. As you know, we've got lots of hot chicks on the Brutality Report XXX page. But, that's only for adults, so if that's not your thing, or you're not legal to check that sort of thing out, then don't go there. You must be 18 or older to see that sort of thing - so you've been warned. But if you are legal to see that stuff and wish to - then you can see hot chicks like Alexandra (pictured right) and many more, doing some nasty things. So why not check out lots of free picture and movie galleries where you can see sexy teens getting naked and performing acts that only adults can see. We do a feature each week of one of the hottest young girls on the web - offering several galleries for you to check out. Some have movies on them too, so you can see much more than still shots. We also post several more galleries - featuring girls that do nasty things. We also have an archive of past galleries, so you could wind up with a disability claim from all the jerking you're about to do! So be careful and don't hurt yourselves . . . we need you in the trenches - being brutal as ever for the underground metal movement. So that gives you an idea of what's in store . . . lots of hot teen chicks doing nasty things. Need I say more? Just one last time - remember you must be 18 or older to see such things . . . so don't go there unless you're legal. Click on the link below if you want to check out Brutality Report XXX and don't come whining to us if your cock gets sore from all the jerking - or if you're a female and that nub gets worn down. Enjoy the perversion! Happy jerkin'! |
