So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . we had an absolute BLAST this weekend. Sorry for the "late" report, but I was completely wore the fuck out yesterday and needed a bit of time to get my shit together. Plus, all the pics we took from the double header weekend, took quite a bit of time to go through and find the best ones for you fuckers. So enjoy it and happy jerking to you sick fucks who love to drool over half-dressed teens that were smoking fucking hot!
We had a great time doing our first weekend road trip with the new lineup. We actually went to a "jerking party" at a farm near Hoopeston - home of the Cornjerkers. You'll see it ALL and will laugh your asses off I'm sure. Speaking of jerking it - we're also launching a new cologne I've come up with called Jerk It! and we shot a commercial for it on Saturday at the show. I'll tell you much more about that, the November Chopping Block Show is co-hosted by Dan and Wes, plus the usual parade of pussy in the Brutality Report XXX, a new and wicked Skank of the Week, and of course much more.
So all you real metal maniacs - get yourself prepared for a brutal assault upon your metal senses. Get ready to see some great pics from Crazy Mike - so you might want to get a box of tissues to clean up the keyboard when you're done!

| JERK IT! COLOGNE LAUNCHES |

| I came up with the idea for
our own cologne, called Jerk It!, and am in the middle of editing down a
commercial for the fragrance that we will use in the new Heavycore
"United in Metal" DVD. It's going to be a fucking riot! Our slogan will be "sometimes you have to take matters in your own hands". We did some filming for the commercial at the Legion in Rossville Illinois this weekend and it turned out great. I'll be posting the commercial on the Heavycore website sometime soon, so keep your eyes open for that. We had a couple of people already ask if they could buy some Jerk It! and I will have it available on the website as well as at our shows. Yes it is a real cologne, and it's not really too bad! Plus - when you do have to take matters into your own hands, at least you'll smell nice doing it. Sometimes a man just has to Jerk It! |

| FRIDAY NIGHT BRUTALITY |

| The Friday night show
(Halloween) started out in a bad way . . . but wound up working itself
out and turning out good. The bartender didn't know a show was
going on and so we had to wait until the owner showed up, so I could
negotiate with her and have the show happen. It was a bit hairy,
and she was pissed off at the person who booked the show, but it worked
out and we tore shit the fuck up! It was only us and Ocularis, but there were several Bloomington fans in the house and a few locals too, and though it was a smaller crowd than we expected for a Halloween show - it was fun. Of course the dudes who came out with Ocularis were crazy as hell and we had a great time. Ocularis tore it up of course and played a great show. They sounded very tight and seem to be finding their groove with a new bassist in the new lineup. We stomped ass and got the place even crazier, and despite a rocky start, the show turned out good and we left the place in ruins! | We had quite the experience
this year at the Hallowfest IV show in Rossville Illinois. Wes and
Michelle drove back to Bloomington after the Phoenix show, but me, Crazy
Mike, Dan and Meister all continued on to Hoopeston to crash at
Kruztea's place. Kruztea is the guitarist for Stinkditch and he
was cool enough to offer up a few couches for us to crash. It was
very cool to see him and his wife again, and to meet their son Kelvin
who seemed like he enjoyed having Low Twelve spend the night at his
house! Check me out to the right, as I slept in a youth bed (that
was funny, I nearly fell of a couple times) and a Spidey pillow.
Fuck yeah! After we all got up, Krutea's wife made us a nice breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and more. Hell yeah. Then we took off for the country, with Josh from Stinkditch who wanted to take us to what the locals call a "husking bee". Basically - what that means, is some friends/family get together and husk corn and eat some good food! As you readers know, husking corn is where the whole Cornjerker thing comes from. The local Hoopeston football team is called the Cornjerkers and the girls' teams are the Lady Cornjerkers. At one time, Hoopeston was the sweet corn capital of the world and cornjerking was a big thing. It's been an amusing thing for me over the years, as I've sported Cornjerker wear when we play in the area, and joke about it on the Brutality Report. I mean no harm of course, because those Hoopeston area fans are great to us and we LOVE playing in that area. So thanks to all who came out in support to the Hallowfest this year. Maybe next week I'll throw up the video I shot of it - it's fucking wild as hell! |

We really did enjoy ourselves - so huge thanks to Josh for inviting us. We ate some great food and met some very interesting people at the "husking bee". We got some education while relaxing from brutalizing the world for a bit. Nice!
We got to the Legion Hall in Rossville and started setting up - Wes and Michelle arrived when the show was starting up and the crowd slowly built over the day. Of course there were some smoking hot chicks in costume and Crazy Mike was all about finding them and taking their pics! Check it out!

The bands were very kick ass this time around. Up first was Seminary - a brand new band with Tubbs (sound man) on drums and Sammi Jo on bass. Sammi is a local metal freak who always comes out to support bands. So she's playing bass now in Tubbs' band and it's very cool. They sounded really good after only being together a couple months. Hell yeah - Tubbs wants to sign them up for Heavycore too.
Also playing were Fallen Oath, who sounded much better than when I heard them at the last Hallowfest. They're a good bunch of guys and they got the crowd into it for sure. Actually, one guy (Zack) broke his leg in the pit! It was brutal - we were actually downstairs filming the Jerk It! commercial, so we didn't get to see any of it, aside from the cops and EMT's taking him out on a stretcher. We wish we could have got some pics of that . . . sorry Zack! Hope your leg heals up soon brother!
Our camera has been fucking up badly - and I'll need to get a new one soon. So some of the pics came out too blurry - so I don't have a pic of Ocularis or Fallen Oath. But of course Ocularis ripped the place up big time. They love them in Cornjerker country and so it was brutal as hell. We got up next and played a short 35-minute set to keep things on track - due to the broken leg drama and all that. So we only played a handful of songs, but it was wicked and we had a great time playing the Hallowfest. Next year Kruztea is talking about doing two stages - so that should be great. We're already looking forward to that.

Once again - huge thanks to Kruztea and all the rest for the kind treatment and support. We had a blast playing the Hallowfest this year and look forward to doing it again next year. It was a good time.
It was a brutal weekend for sure. We were all dog tired when we got back to Wes' place to unload the gear after a weekend of brutalizing.
