So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . it's always good to be laying down the brutal propaganda. Sorry about having to miss last week, but I was beyond busy with the last of the unpacking/moving bullshit. Thankfully, most of the unpacking is complete, and so now I've got a little more time to breathe easy and concentrate on other things.
Speaking of other things - I busted out the October 2008 Chopping Block Show this week. You'll be able to listen to that and check out the brutal sounds. I play a remix version of Low Twelve's "Trench" that most of you have never heard. Also we had a really good practice this week as we hone down the set for the big 250th show coming up. Speaking of the 250th - it's moved one more time! We got an offer to do a private party in Normal Illinois for Friday October 17th and thought it would be a great time and a fun 250th show. So - that's where it will be. I'm waiting to find out if it's ok to put out where the party is - because of obvious reasons. More on that later in the report. I also did an email interview with a new metal zine called Hobo Stew Zine - check out some on that later on.
In addition, we're looking for Twelve Heads who would like to be in the new Heavycore commercials coming up in a few weeks. I'm looking for a good weekend to do them - and we're going to need guys and girls who want to be in the commercials. All that plus all kinds of updates . . . a revolting new Skank of the Week and of course lots of hot sluts in the Brutality Report XXX.
So you pussies out there who can't hang with it . . . move aside. Let the rest of us metal freaks dig in and destroy all that is weak, while real metal rises once again. Allow me to cave in your skull with my steel toed boots while us real metal freaks enjoy the spoils of war.

They've been up and running since June and wanted to do an interview with me for their first printed issue. I was very into it and did the interview by email just this morning. | I've been telling you about
the new Command Center and how kick ass it is. I'm pleased with it
so far, and I've still got more to do. Right now I have a
temporary sign up on the door, as you can see to the right. I'm
planning on having one made that really looks sharp, but for now - it's
clearly designated and only for authorized personnel! Even my cats
can't stay around . . .
Check out the pics below . . . and you can see the Low Twelve "cock" that we used for years at practice is proudly sitting atop my rack of mixers, and other devices to use for recording purposes. Once the Command Center is fully completed, I'll do a video tour of the premises so you can really see how fucking cool it is. I guess for a guy who lived in a tin box for 12 years, having my own room in an actual house to do what I do is pretty fucking cool. |

| 250th SHOW IN NORMAL ILLINOIS |

| We have had a few changes as
to where the 250th Low Twelve show would be. First it was going to
be in Chicago Illinos at the Red Line Tap - but we had to cancel that
show. Then it was going to be at the Phoenix in Champaign
Illinois, but then an offer to do a local show came up at the last
minute - which we decided would be the perfect place to do it. Why
not do it for the local fans who have been so supportive over the years?
So that's how it will go down - Friday October 17th. I'm not sure if the person who is throwing the house party will want me to announce on here, where the party is. So - for now all I can say is that it's a private party in Normal . . . and if you're driving around town and hear some hellish ball slapping coming from a basement . . . you'll know who's behind that shit! We're looking forward to throwing down for a basement show - we'll be filming it since it's the 250th and hopefully it will turn out kick ass. We'll also be playing with Ocularis and A Virus Designed, so expect some serious metal mayhem this night! |
| LOOKING FOR EXTRAS We are going to be filming a few funny commercials for the Poser Disposal Service that will be used for the upcoming Heavycore DVD "United in Metal". There will also be a commercial for "Wheel of Meister" and also "Jerk It" cologne. We need men and women for these commercials, so if you're interested - email me quickly at pete@lowtwelve.com so I can get your vitals and contact you when we know we're doing it. It's likely the shoot will in Heyworth Illinois for most of it . . . possibly in Bloomington too. I will let you know the details once you contact me. No one is going to be paid, and everyone will need to sign a release that says it's ok to use you on the DVD. Everyone must be 18 and older too - so prepare to bring an ID with you to prove that. Cool? It's going to be a lot of fun and you'll get to see how that sort of thing is done . . . I hope to get some people involved. We will need 2-3 hot chicks (no nudity or anything) for the "Jerk It" cologne commercial. Basically - we need a few cute girls to hang on Dan while he walks through a bar. It's not a big deal, but the hotter they are the better of course! |
| STUPID PRACTICE SHIT We had a really good week at practice - practicing Thursday and Saturday this week to get ready for the 250th show. The set is sounding brutal as hell and we've now added "Mountains of the Dead" to the mix and are working out the kinks in "Not Forgotten" too! We also have a plan to do at least one more older song for the set, so watch out for that if you are coming to the party on October 17th in Normal. Check out some pics I took of the guys during practice on Saturday.
