So what in my brutal CD player this week? |
|
|
| 1. Carcass - Heartwork (a classic UK death metal CD) | |||
| 2. Arsis - We Are the Nightmare (completely wicked technical death metal) | |||
| 3. Bolt Thrower - Those Once Loyal (gotta love some BT) | |||
So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . it's always wicked to be back at the helm and throwing down some more brutal propaganda your way! We didn't play any shows this weekend, but that doesn't mean we were kicking back . . . we started working on new material to gear up for the studio. Much more on that later in the report.
Aside from that, I've been working on editing the video from the Poser Roast 23 show which will comprise the footage on the upcoming DVD from Heavycore called "United In Metal". It's going to feature live cuts from each of the bands who played Poser Roast 23, plus some insane new commercials and extra shit I'm going to throw in there to make it uniquely Heavycore. Read on to find out more about that project. Also, I'm going to be moving the Low Twelve Command Center, and it will be a top secret operation to avoid poser infiltration at a time when things may be a bit vulnerable. But read on to find out what's going on there . . . as I move the operation to a bigger place that will have many more brutal possibilities!
All that plus plenty of hot sluts in the Brutality Report XXX, one nasty Skank of the Week, and much more that posers cannot bear to see. They should put a blindfold on and pretend that these past ten years of Low Twelve domination never happened. It's a futile effort, because they'll hear their woman rubbing her clit and either listening to some Low Twelve, reading the Brutality Report, or both - so give up poser pukes. We rule your woman's vagina!
Now get on with it.
| UNITED IN METAL TO BE RELEASED THIS YEAR |
|
| I started work this week on
editing down the video footage that I shot at the Poser Roast 23 show in
early August. So far, things look wicked as hell. Right now,
I've got video clips uploaded for the bands to see, so they can tell me
which songs they'd like to use on the DVD release "United In Metal".
It's going to feature the bands who played Poser Roast 23: Low Twelve, Skeptik, Vesicant, In the Wake of the Butcher, Ocularis, and Where Dead Men Walk. Each band will have two songs on the DVD and between the bands I'm going to do some commentary, feature some interviews with the bands, plus some insane commercials for the Poser Disposal Service, and a new game show that we'll be talking about called Wheel of Meister. It's going to be killer! So brace yourselves for one hell of a great stocking stuffer for the family this year . . . because I'm planning to release "United in Metal" in November. It's going to kick ass and I'm looking forward to moving ahead with it. We decided to use the Low Twelve live clips for "Defiance to the End" and "Bodies in My Pocket" for our two songs on the DVD. | COMMAND CENTER MOVE PLANNED FOR SEPTEMBER |
|
|
I've had the Low Twelve Command Center in the same place now for the past ten years. So the thought of moving is a daunting task to say the least. But - I will be moving the operation about ten miles away to a small town outside of Bloomington Illinois. Once I'm settled in, and the security cameras are in place to protect the brutal cargo . . . I'll let you all know where it is. Well - as much as my safety experts will allow me to divulge! I'm going to have a pack of dogs who are trained in the art of poser detection and apprehension guarding the Command Center, as well as many booby traps set up to rip the heads off any intruder with little effort. I may just have a collection of poser corpses that I will have to do something with! Maybe we can actually have a real poser roast when the pile gets too high! Right now it seems that the weekend of September 6th is when the move will take place. I'm hoping I can still do the Brutality Report on Sunday September 7th, but I'm not sure. I may have to skip that one, but will have all the pics from the move. I'm going to have plenty of help - like Big Mike Collier from Ocularis, Crazy Mike Lanham, the Low Twelve crew, and more. So it should be a fun time - even though the thought of moving all my shit makes me cringe! If any friends read this and want to help out - it would be appreciated! Contact me at pete@lowtwelve.com and I can give you the information. We plan to do it all in one day - so it shouldn't be too bad! |

| LOW TWELVE PREPARES FOR STUDIO |
|
| We have been busting ass on
our live set as you know, but we also realize that by January, we need
to be ready to record our follow up CD to the "This Side Toward Enemy"
CD. With Meister and Dan in the lineup, it's really critical that
our first CD with them is slamming and so we hope that "Splatter
Pattern" will do just that! Our plan is to record it in a very similar way that the stuff we did last year with Les - that was to be part of this new CD before he left in March. We will record the drums and guitar parts with engineer Nathan Kurtz (Skeptik guitarist) and then burn the tracks to a CD, to then turn them over to me and Wes. Wes will take his drum parts and edit the tracks down like he wants. I'll take the rough drums, along with final guitars and add my bass parts, as well as all the vocals at my home Nasty Studios. I like doing that the best, because I can spend as much time as I want doing it - and with the new arrangement at this new place - I'll have so much more room to get BRUTAL AS FUCK. |
Meister will also be coming by to lay down vocal tracks, as will Dan and Wes for backing "gang vocals". There will be some audio stuff I want to add, maybe not to the degree of what we did with "This Side Toward Enemy", but there will be some newscasts, and that sort of thing, since all the songs on this CD will be from major events that occurred in world history. Events that made major impacts on life as we know it.
Here is a track list (in no specific order) for the "Splatter Pattern" CD:
Dying Room
Not Forgotten
Bind Torture Kill
Mountains of the Dead
Scourge
Defiance to the End (check
out live video)
Bodies in My Pocket (check
out live video)
Hand of the Dying
Splatter Pattern
Wings of War
The songs Hand of the Dying, Splatter Pattern and Wings of War are not yet completed, but our goal is to have them done and ready to record no later than January. I have the music written for Hand of the Dying, as well as some ideas for Splatter Pattern. The song Wings of War (working title) will be about the Ia Drang Valley battle in the Vietnam War. Those of you who have seen (or read) "We Were Soldiers" know the story. If you haven't seen that movie (or read "We Were Soldiers Once And Young") then I strongly suggest you do! It's a fantastic story and makes you proud to be an American! That is the reason that I decided to pen lyrics about the subject, because I feel strongly about being proud of your country.
The rest of the songs have been in our live lineup before, and several were recorded with Les Aldridge prior to his departure in March 2008. We will re-record all the songs, since the Low Twelve is different with Meister and Dan . . . and we want them to be fully a part of the new CD!
We think you'll like the new material and we're pumped as hell to record once again. Each time we do, Wes and I learn more about the editing process. This time around it's going to be fucking wicked!
We also plan to record at least 2-3 videos for the new songs, and if things go the way I'd like - we'll have them on the CD too! We'll keep you posted on how things go here. It's going to be a lot of work - so hang in there and be patient . . . but know that this new CD will blow your fucking doors in! Maybe the windows too!
| DON'T FORGET ABOUT XXX! |
|
| As you know, we've got lots
of hot chicks on the Brutality Report XXX page. But, that's only
for adults, so if that's not your thing, or you're not legal to check
that sort of thing out, then don't go there. But if you are - then you can see hot chicks like Nikki (pictured right) and many more, doing some nasty things. So why not check out lots of free picture and movie galleries where you can see sexy teens getting naked and performing acts that only adults can see. So click on the link below if you want to check out Brutality Report XXX and don't come whining to us if your cock gets sore from all the jerking - or if you're a female and that nub gets worn down.
