So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . basking in the brutality along with me. It's been a very brutal week here in the Low Twelve Command Center, as I've been sifting through hours of video to see what glimmering jewels of nastiness I can find. It's the Poser Roast 23 video I'm talking about and we had two cameras going on during the Low Twelve performance and I think you'll like what I've come up with! I made three live videos with songs we played that night, so read on to check that shit out!
In addition to all that, we're preparing for our first show at the Metal Church in Stanford Illinois this coming Friday night - which should be wicked. We're also going to be doing our 250th show in Chicago at the end of September, so things can't get much more brutal around here! Also, our metal brothers in Cock Ring have finally busted out a new CD for you to check out, and I've got the sick and perverted art to show you. Not to mention of course all the hot skanks and sluts featured in the Brutality Report XXX, a nasty skank for the spank bank, plus a winner in the Meisterism contest from last week . . . and so much more.
You poser pukes out there must be getting ever-so-tired of my ranting and thinking about how fucking lame you bitches are. | Going back to the early days
of Low Twelve, we did some shows with a band from St. Louis Missouri
called Cock Ring. They were a wild bunch of crazed metal maniacs,
and usually featured sick, twisted, and sexually deviant CD art.
Of course you can only imagine what drew us to their unique brand of
metal. Well . . . in 2002, their lead singer got sick and the band decided to call it quits. It bummed me out, but about a week ago they contacted me about a new CD they had coming out on August 26th called "Saturday Night Sodomy". I thought it sounded like the old Cock Ring I had known and loved, so I thought I'd mention it and let the metal masses new the mighty purveyors of porn were back and ready to destroy your little sister's hymen. Since I'm talking about the good old days of Cock Ring, I thought I'd show some of their other artistic masterpieces . . . check 'em out below. 250 brutal shows . . . . can you believe it? On Saturday September 27th at the Red Line Tap, 7006 N. Glenwood in Chicago - we'll be doing our 250th live show. How about that? It seems like yesterday we were doing our 200th live show, and now it's time for number 250. Fuck yeah. The brutality just never stops! This show will be even more wicked because our label, Rotting Corpse Records, is having a showcase at the Red Line Tap that night with us, Deadnight, Whorrid, and Ebonmortis. So it should be one hell of a brutal night of metal. So mark that one on your calendars and make the trip to the concrete jungle of Chicago to check out a historic Low Twelve performance. They'll be doing giveaways all night and so you might even score some free merch. | I spent several hours last
night going through the footage we shot at the Poser Roast 23 show from
the Low Twelve performance. We had two cameras going, one was
sitting on a tri-pod by the sound man, and the other was with Crazy Mike
as he hung in the pit and got up on stage too - to capture some good, up
close footage of the band. He did a fantastic job (as always) and

So for those who missed the ball slapping at Dan/Meister's first show last Saturday at Poser Roast 23, you can see it for yourself. We're looking through the footage to decide what we like and will use some of it on a DVD release coming this fall or early winter. So keep your eyes open for that. We plan on doing some filming at the next couple of shows and putting out the live DVD so we have something with the new lineup to sell and spread the word that Low Twelve is far from done, and only getting warmed up!
So get your ass out to some shows coming up and see about getting yourself on the new DVD!

| We ran a contest last week
on the Brutality Report to see how many could come up with some good
Meisterisms for company/business names. We had some good ones -
but of course only one winner could be crowned as the best Meisterism.
Huge fuck yeahs go out to Angie from Fairbury Illinois for coming up
with a flurry of good ones! Hell yeah. She scores a free
copy of the "Roasting Posers Volume I" DVD. Check out what she sent in . . . good job Angie! Jiffy Meister, Meister Lube, Meister Depot, Meister-Mart, Mitsumeister, McMeister, Burger Meister, Mother Meister's (a local head shop called Mother Murphy's), and Long John Meisters. Those were awesome! I really liked several of them, so I thought I'd post all that she sent in. We continue to get a lot of fan email about the Meisterisms - so keep on sending them in. Do you want to talk to the Meister of Puppets himself? Then email him at meister@lowtwelve.com - I'm sure he'll love all the emails you send in - go for it. Ok . . . well I get stupid from time to time (as you fuckers well know). So I got myself in the "right frame of mind" and came up with the graphic below. At a recent get together, we were all brainstorming on some good new Meisterisms. Low Twelve guitarist, Dan Steinlicht, came up with the Family Guy reference Meisterism - Quagmeister. I thought it was fucking hilarious, especially since my son Joe is all about Family Guy and even turned me on to the show. I think it's the shit. So - in tribute to Dan's great new Meisterism . . . and my son's (and my own) love for the show. Enjoy the new one below! |
