So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . it's always fun spreading the brutal propaganda each week. This week has been the usual crazy one here at the Low Twelve Command Center. As we gear up for doing live shows again, as well as continue working on new songs, the Brutal Express continues to chug the fuck on.
In addition to all that, I managed to squeeze in doing the February edition of the Heavycore Chopping Block Show. It's a wicked one for sure, and you'll get to hear all kinds of new stuff as well as some metal you already dig. Also, artist Jeff Gaither is auctioning off his original artwork for Core til Death II on ebay, and you'll be able to check it out and bid on it if you want. Plus we've got another show booked - this time it's going back to Cornjerker Country with Stinkditch to play in the Hoopeston area on April 26th. We're already looking forward to that one. All that plus plenty of hot bitches to whack yourself to, and of course a nasty Skank of the Week for you sick fuckers out there!
So what the fuck are you waiting for? We've got a lot of shit to cover here on Super Bowl Sunday - so before you watch the game, get your brutality in for the week and enjoy. So who are you routing for? Well - being that I'm from NY, I'm going for the Giants. I'm a Pittsburgh Steeler fan, but since they're out of it, I have to go with the NY team. Plus - going for the underdog is cool . . . especially when they have the chance to spoil the Pats perfect season. I just hope it's a good game!

| LOW TWELVE STILL IN
WRITING FRENZY We have been in a SERIOUS writing zone now for the past couple months. Things are going better than we hoped, as we continue to put out some of the most face-melting metal on the planet. As with most Low Twelve songs, the collective effort is what makes a great end product. I'm really excited about how well "Mountains of the Dead" (in my personal opinion, the best song we have ever written) and "Bodies in My Pocket" - also a great one. We're in the middle of "Scourge" right now and things are going well. There are some really off the wall parts in this new song, so we're working it out and enjoying every minute. The shitty weather this week attempted to shut things down - but the V12 held strong and we were able to get both practices in this week! Fuck yeah. Here are some pics I took of Les and Wes in the V-12 on Thursday when we got slammed with nearly a foot of snow! It was nuts - as the storm raged outside, we were toasty warm in the V-12. The pic of me was taken while I did the Chopping Block Show here last night in the small hours!
We're pumped for the first show of the year on Friday February 22nd at Paulie's in Bloomington. If you're in the area, then mark that one down! We'll be sharing the stage with Ocularis. I'm having a hard time finding a third band to open the show - so if anyone is interested contact me ASAP at pete@lowtwelve.com - if not then we'll play two sets with a break in between. We've done it before - or maybe I'll do some Killer Karaoke? That might be a gas! Check out the rest of the shows coming up too - we're going to keep the schedule light until May or so, so we can get the last couple songs written and complete before we get into the thick of busy gig schedules. We've got a classic coming on Saturday March 29th in Columbia Missouri with 3 Headed Moses and Slugtrail. Talk about classics . . . if you're in that area you must check it out. Then we're going to Cornjerker country in April . . . so it's going to be a wild 2008 live season! We're pumped and ready - it's our 10th year of Low Twelve and we're going to show all that we're not slowing down one fucking bit! |
