So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . it's great to bring in 2008 with you as I deliver the first Brutality Report of the new year! As you all know, I took a few weeks off to spend time working on the new Low Twelve material we were writing, as well as catch up on other things that I needed to do. It's also good to take a break away from the Brutality Report every so often, so I don't get burned out . . . as well as keeping the material here fresh and oh-so-brutal.
So here we are - a new year and a lot of brutalizing yet to do! This year marks 10 years of Low Twelve! Hell yeah! This summer will really be the 10-year mark and what a great ride it's been so far. We've been having a lot of fun lately writing new songs, and we're very anxious to get back on stage again next month to start up the show circuit for 2008. As you can see below in the upcoming shows section, we kick off the 2008 season with a hometown show at Paulie's on Feb 22nd and then we make a trip to Columbia Missouri on March 29th. There will be more dates to fall into place - so stay tuned!
So brace yourselves for one hell of a report. I've got the January Heavycore Chopping Block Show to unveil, lots of updates on the new Low Twelve songs, some new Killer Karaoke for you to laugh your ass off to, and of course all the hot sluts a person can stand with lots of new porn galleries here! So if there are any weak ass posers in the house, you should consider leaving now before we sick 666 metal freaks on your ass to take care of your lameness.
Now get on with it.
| 10 YEARS OF BRUTALITY |
|
| It's amazing to think that
we've been slamming it in Low Twelve for ten years. But this July
will mark the ten year anniversary of the forming of the band. I
started looking for musicians in June of 1998 but didn't get anyone
locked in until July when I met Tim McCleland and things began to fall
into place. Of course the original lineup of me, Tim (guitar),
Steve Chestney (drums) and Steve Pearson (guitar) didn't last long,
because by Christmas of 1998 Les replaced Steve Pearson and we did our
first show February 6, 1999.
Wes replaced Steve Chestney in November of 1999 and broke his "cherry" with us on New Year's Eve 1999/2000. Tim left the band October 2001 and as you know, died on February 26, 2002. But through all the adversity . . . my cancer in 2001 . . . Tim leaving and then dying soon after . . . the band continued to forge the fuck on. That's really been our common thread through all these 10 years is that we've forged the fuck on in the face of a shitload of adversity. Huge thanks to all the Twelve Heads who have shown support these ten years, because without you, it wouldn't have lasted ten months. It's been awesome to play for you! |
I've had people over the last few years ask me when I'm going to be done playing with Low Twelve. The answer is - I have no fucking idea! When writing and playing music ceases to be enjoyable to me is when I plan on stopping. I hope that won't be until I'm dead and gone - but I really don't know. Right now we're having a great time and the fact that Les, Wes, and I get along so well is probably the main reason it's been so much fun playing as Low Twelve. Sure we have disagreements sometimes, but we have always kept a theme of "bringing gripes to the table" and because of that - we've stuck it out.
Les is a few years older than me, but you'd never know it by the way he bounces around and acts like a 20-year old! I have had some health issues over the years, but right now I'm still in remission from my cancer fight in 2001, and despite some lingering pain from chemo side effects, I'm still able to get up and throw down. I broke my back in 1992 while in the US Army, and that probably gives me more problems than anything. After a show, I'm usually hobbling around pretty good after thrashing on stage with my heavy-ass Schecter bass around my neck. But it sure beats sitting on a couch and bitching about it - so I deal with the pain. Wes has had some knee trouble recently, but is doing well with it and as you know - he's the Kill Floor Kid . . . so he's about 10 years younger than me. So the three of us are doing well on that front and see no end in sight!
There is nothing I enjoy more than to write and create heavy music with Low Twelve. So here's to ten more brutal years . . .
Any comments on ten years of Low Twelve? (good or bad) - send 'em to contact@lowtwelve.com and we will post them in an upcoming Brutality Report!

| KILLER KARAOKE STRIKES AGAIN! |
|
| Those of you who have read
these reports, know about my antics with Killer Karaoke. Well, my
daughter got me a classic country karaoke CD for Christmas and I started
to think about how funny that would be with me screaming along to that
crap. So - I made myself a list based on available karaoke I could
get and came up with a new CD that I am tentatively calling "Whackin'
After Midnight". I just started working on it, so it might take a
while to finish amidst all the other stuff I'm working on. So far I've done "Thank God I'm a Country Boy", "Walkin' After Midnight" and "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue". It's fucking hysterical. Here's the list of the songs I'm going to do for "Whackin' After Midnight": Devil Went Down to Georgia and a duet with Shannon from the band Invocation - she and I will be doing some lame ass duet that will be brutalized in the most wicked fashion! Hell yeah! Check out a sample of the new classic country desecration with Thank God I'm a Country Boy Send feedback good or bad to me at

So you want to try something new in the
bedroom? Here's one that could land your ass in jail if you're not
careful! Check out the BULLWINKLE. When you're entering your partner from the rear and you reach up front, wrench her nipples as hard as you can, put your hands up to the sides of your head like antlers, and wiggle your fingers and stick out your tongue while emitting a high pitched turkey gobble. Wow, if you can pull this one off - you need to send us a pic at contact@lowtwelve.com - especially if you manage to not get your stupid ass thrown in the joint. |

| THOSE HOT SLUTS NEXT DOOR |
|
| So you fuckers love to see
chicks getting naked? Well, you've cum to the right place.
In this column each week we feature a different hot chick. She's hot as
hell and it's no wonder her webmaster sends her galleries to us nearly
every week! While you're checking out these galleries, feel free to take the site visits. They're usually free and you can see more than just a few pics. Some of them feature videos and more. If you join up as a member, you get to see all the galleries and some of them include some seriously wicked stuff! Often times you can chat with the girls and mail in stuff for them to wear for future photo shoots. How about that? Check out these galleries we're featuring this week and don't worry about it. I won't tell on you. Promise! Just don't blame us if you get in trouble at home or school . . . or like one poor Twelve Head - he got fired from work for looking at porn. Use some fucking common sense . . . grab that box of tissues and get to spankin! http://galleries.danimiles.com/movies/010208fjk01/hosted.html?nats=MTUwMzU6Mzo1Mw http://galleries1.gagonmycock.com/galleries/010208fjk01/hosted.html?nats=MTUwMzU6Mzox http://www.badgirlpotd.com/galleries/candycarmichael/mgp/35/hosted.html?nats=MjM3OToxOjIy|Candy http://www.badgirlpotd.com/galleries/kissambersass/mgp/35/hosted.html?nats=MjM3OToxOjIz|Kiss http://www.badgirlpotd.com/galleries/melodymelons/mgp/41/hosted.html?nats=MjM3OToxOjE4|Sexy |
| NEW LOW TWELVE SONGS We have been hard at work with new songs as you all know . . . and so far things are going great. We've got the song "Bodies in My Pocket" nearly complete and will begin working on the next song on the list - "Scourge". The final two after that will be "Hand of the Dying" and "Splatter Pattern". That will then conclude the writing for the new CD and then the next phase will be recording the five new songs. As you know, we recorded the first five songs in early 2007 with Nathan Kurtz and we hope to do the next five the same way. That will ensure the songs sound good together since there will have been a year between recordings, but we've got a good system of doing this now with Wes working on drum tracks on his laptop and me doing the rest of it here at my place . . . then we meet with Les and listen to the songs, do more finite mixing and then make it a patented Low Twelve song! Check out some pics I took at the last band practice of 2007 - which was actually on New Year's Eve! Even Crazy Mike stopped by! What a great way to bring in the new year!
