So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . I'm ready to unleash it upon you again - the new Brutality Report. Oh yes, we're dishing out more brutalness than most can take.
Low Twelve played their last show of 2007 at Ye Old Town Inn in Mt. Prospect Illinois last night for a birthday bash in the finest order! It was a great time and we've got the pics to prove it. We got to jam with our buddies in Vesicant once again . . . even though Chino is a fuckin' Boston Red Sox fan. Ugh - the bastard that he is. Aside from that, I've got more Killer Karaoke Christmas madness with a medley of a few more songs I've been working on for the lastest "Seasons Beatings" CD. This one is going to be a classic. Also the usual display of naked hot chicks that you fuckers drool over each and every week, and of course one NASTY Skank of the Week that I'm sure some of you want to loose your lunch over.
So you metal freaks out there should prepare for yet another excursion into sheer nastiness, while the pussies of this planet whine and moan about how much their vaginas are sore and tired. Fuck them - they're poser pukes anyway.

| NEW LOW TWELVE SONGS This week we began working on the next new song on the slab - "Bodies in My Pocket". So far it's turning out wicked as hell! It's in the very early stages, but we've got the intro down, the verse part, and next will be the chorus. We hope to have this song and three more done in the next couple of months so that we can record the next five songs and have a full CD done and ready to go in 2008. So be patient you loyal Twelve Heads who have been wanting a new CD to come out. "Blackened Spiral Down" should prove to be the crowning point in Low Twelve's brutal 10 years on this planet. The next one that will be worked on is a song called "Scourge" . . . so watch out for us in 2008 for a lot of new stuff and a kick ass stage production. |
| RIPPING IT UP AT YOTI |

| We made the trip north to
the Chicago area to play at Ye Old Town Inn (aka YOTI) in Mt. Prospect.
Our friend Dennis "Paws" Spears and Dave "Still Life" share the same
birthday and so we were asked to play for them again. Last year we
did it at Penny Road Pub with Hurtlocker - which was very bad ass.
This show was cool, but we had some issues with the PA and the sound
coming from it. But as brutal troopers that we are, we forged the
fuck on and still laid a slap down on the crowd who stuck around to see
what we were about. First up was Westbury, who were a very original band that do more of a Primus style music that didn't totally fit with what else was going on, but they were good at what they did. They were also very friendly dudes and they stuck around all night to support all the bands on the bill. So that was cool as hell. Vesicant got up next and put on a good show - it was great to see them all again. I shot some video of their set and so maybe I'll show a clip from it in a future Brutality Report. |
We opened up with "Defiance to the End" and then straight into "Lines Drawn" and "Kill Everything" before we gave the crowd a breather. There was a lot of feedback on stage from the microphones and so we struggled with that quite a bit. Wes had the worst time of it - but the crowd seemed to dig what was coming out, so we're glad they had a good time.

As you all know, that was our last show of 2007. Thanks to all the fans who came out in support all year. We ended the year with 246 shows - so watch for our special 250th celebration in 2008! Fuck yeah.
We are in the works of planning a special show in memory of Tim McCleland this February at Brew-Ha's in Normal Illinois, so keep your eyes open for that. Plus we'll be doing another trip down to Columbia Missouri I'm sure and many more . . . so enjoy the break from live shows so you can rest up those mosh pit wounds and prepare your ears for what it about to descend upon them.
