So good to see you back in brutality once again my friends . . . what an insane week this has been. I'm still recovering from the brutality of it all - but I must say so, I'm enjoying the tiredness . . . knowing that we left a huge mark on a lot of new Twelve Heads as our legions grow in numbers! Yes my brutal friends, our masses are growing quickly as many new fans have entered the fray . . . posers should take heed and hide under their Mommy's apron strings for a while. That is until I find you and force you to watch Crazy Mike (who has a mammoth-sized penis) sodomize your woman!
We had a blast at the big GWAR show on Wednesday at the Canopy Club in Urbana Illinois! It could not have gone any better actually - and we've got the pics to prove it. We enjoyed ourselves and tore that place a new ass along with Heavycore brothers Human Artifacts and of course the mighty GWAR. In addition to that kick ass show, we played the Hallowfest III show last night and had a great time there too. We always enjoy throwing down with those crazy Cornjerkers and this time was no different as the chicks busted out some wickedly sexy costumes and Crazy Mike was on the prowl all night long! Speaking of Crazy Mike - he also captured some mega titties on the video camera and I've got the clip for you to check out. Warning - these titties are huge and they just might take an eye out!
All that plus a new edition of "Before They Were Brutal" with a surprise new metal freak on display, very scorching hot Next Door Nikki pics and galleries of her very naughty friends, and much more . . .

| Low Twelve has a local show
coming up this next weekend . . . so you Bloomington area Twelve Heads
better get your ass out and get in the PIT. This show should get
nuts, like most of our local ones do. We'll be jamming with
Slavereign Nation and Killborn - both bands also from the Bloomington
area. So it's an all local show and hopefully we'll warm Paulie's
up to do some shows now and again where I can bring in bands from out of
town. Right now we're testing the waters. Speaking of local stuff . . . Show Me's is wanting to get into the live band stuff. You all know we did the big Battle of the Bands, and it was a huge success. Now they're starting to book more metal shows, and hopefully we can get one set up down there to get things really brutal. Also Illinois Brewing Company is still cool with metal and so we're working on a date there too. So in 2008, Bloomington has the potential for three bars to do shows in - it's about fucking time! How about this little fucker? Wes was brave enough to donate a pic for me to use for the "Before They Were Brutal" column. Hell yeah. Here's a baby pic of Wes sitting on a couch with his uncle and his dog. What a cute little fucker . . . hard to imagine he'd grow up to be one of the most fierce metal drummers I've ever had the privilege to share a stage with! Wes is a force to be reckoned with behind the kit and it's funny to see him all innocent and "untainted". So far it's beer me and Wes featured here - so that means Les is next! We'll keep on him for some good pics of him as a young bastard. | TERRORIZING HALLOWFEST III |

| We made the trip to
Rossville Illinois for Hallowfest III yesterday. They had planned
to do it in Wellington, at the Lions Club Pavilion, but due to a new law
that was passed in the town, they needed to purchase very expensive
insurance and more to do the show. The shitty thing was, that this
was sprung on the promoters at the last minute. So luckily Kruztea
found a new spot to do it, at the American Legion in Rossville. It
turned out well, but the numbers were down due to the change in venue
and an army of cops showing up in the middle of the show and spooking a
lot of people off.
But the ladies were out in mass - in sexy costumes and Crazy Mike was drooling and ready with the camera to capture it all for you! Wait until you see some of the crazy shit he got just for your perverted eyes. Prepare for a buffet to the senses! |
Kruztea and crew had the American Legion all decked out in Halloween stuff and the local freaks were all busting out some great costumes. Crazy Mike took lots of pics, and it was hard to decide which ones to use. Of course the pics of the hot girls made first cut . . . sorry guys! The first band up was Sexcreep and they were much different than the other bands on the bill. These guys did a Type-O Negative meets Ministry type of deal and many of the locals really liked them! They were also pimping their new CD that just came out, and to show support for these fuckers (made up of Bonesaw - ex Chainsaw Homicide and more) I bought a copy. After them was a new band doing their very first show called Fallen Oath. They were real friendly dudes and once they got over being nervous, they did a good job. Then up was Incursion, these guys were brutal as hell and didn't have a bass player. Being a bass player, this hurts (ha) to know that bands would openly dis a bass player like that. But if they had one, I'm sure it would really thicken them up and make them sound much heavier.

The bar was downstairs, and so many people were forced to drink downstairs while the show was going on upstairs. So it was a weird crowd that changed in size by the minute. But as I noted before, it was a great time and the girls were out . . . watch out Crazy Mike!
Ocularis took the stage and is a crowd favorite in the land of the Cornjerkers! These guys got a good pit going and had people pumped and ready for more. We tore it up next and busted into the same set we did at the GWAR show, but added an encore of "Sex Sin Sermon" to knock the crowd into the ground. It was a great time! It's always fun to to the Hoopeston area and do a show - we get to see many of our friends that we haven't seen in a while and to jam with other kick ass bands. Stinkditch closed the show out, since they're the local faves and promoters of the show - but they played well and did all the crowd favorite tunes.

It was an awesome time! We always love going over there for shows and want to thank Kruztea and friends for bringing us back again and again. We really love coming out and hopefully we'll do it again soon!

| We had the incredible
opportunity given to us to get a chance to open up for GWAR as you all
know. It was huge, because one of my goals for Low Twelve in 2007
was to put us in front of a large crowd for once and for all.
We've never had the chance to do it, and have come close a few times,
but this one was going to be huge for us.
So we prepared a 30 minute set and worked it week in and week out. We refined it and cut songs out because we knew, after other major show experience, that the stage manager was going to be strict and keep everyone on time. We could not have been more prepared for this show, and stomped ass in the HIGHEST fucking degree! We showed up at 5pm for load in and the club hired professional roadies to unload the gear and they busted total ass! I was impressed. We got to do a short sound check, but it was nice to test the waters. On a large stage, it can be tough to hear without good monitors. The Canopy Club has a killer sound system and with Gwar in town, it was pumped up and thumping like crazy! |
The doors opened up just after 7pm and a long line of metal heads began to filter in. By the time we went on at 8pm, there had to be well over 500-600 in the club. We were stoked and as we played, more and more filled in until the place was just erupting in support. We were so fucking happy! We opened it up with "Chopping Block" and then busted into "Lines Drawn" and "Within Lies". Then another burst with "Defiance to the End", "Your God", and "Bind Torture Kill". After one last breather, we tore into "Not Forgotten" and ended the show with our patented show-ender - "Crawlspace" and the club went nuts! They were screaming along and when I went back to check out the video tape . . . it sounds killer! It's hard to say how many were in the club as our show was ending, but I'm going to guess somewhere around 800 or more. It was insane and they were pitting like crazy too! Of course I tossed out a few tampons, and plenty of 2-song samplers with some of our new stuff. The stage manager commented later that she had never seen a band break down their gear and get it off stage like that in her career. We had all our stuff off stage in five minutes - I have proof on the video tape we shot!
After we got done, the fan reaction was awesome as I stood at our merch table for the next couple hours, talking with new fans who hadn't heard us before - or just hadn't for a while and were blown away at some of the new material. It was great and very rewarding to bask in the brutalness of it all.

There were some hot busty women at this show and so Crazy Mike got some pics of them, and even a special video you can watch to show them bouncing up and down! Oh yeah, it's nuts. Also some good bloody crowd shots as fans left the club after being "jizzed and bloodied" by Gwar. It was fucking killer. Gwar stomped total ass and really burned it to the ground. I was impressed really at how well they play, despite all the bulk from the costumes. It was an awesome experience!
